On May 22, 2013 I pushed the button to publish my first blog post. I had been thinking about and planning for it for quite some time but it was scary to put myself out into the blogging world. From my perspective now, I am really happy I did. It has given me a creative outlet and made me think about the things in my life that are important and helped me recognize those that aren’t so important.
Today, I thought I would share a few of my favorite photos from over this year. Some were taken with my DSLR and some with my phone camera.
The photo in my very first blog post was of jumbo gums. I have since initiated my grandsons into the yummy joy.
This is one of my favorite lilac photos. And I have taken a few of them.
This photo of my grandson jumping is one of my favorites from my phone photography class. I disturbed them at supper to get him to jump and he did it so willingly.
I don’t know that I take very many “clever” photos but this is one of them. Also from my phone photography class.
This ornament photo from another photography challenge was taken with my DSLR and I just love the simplicity of it.
I love this macro shot and I took it with my phone camera and the macro lens that fits on my phone.
There are quite a few more that I would have liked to share but I didn’t want to overload this post. I hope you enjoyed the walk down memory lane and will continue this journey with me in year two.
