The next and last stop on our photography trip was Rowley. We could have spent a whole day there. We had a picnic when we arrived and watched a grad and her family have their photos taken.
Rowley is almost a ghost town. There are eight residents left, one of which we had the opportunity to talk to. In the summer there are people there to tour you around the town but in May we were on our own. And it was great!
The buildings were locked but the grounds were perfect for someone with a camera who likes old stuff! There we so many different buildings:
And the opportunities to find little vignettes were many and varied.
I would love to go back in autumn to see Rowley in fall colours. If you get the chance to go, take it!
