A good friend and I decided to take in the Prairie Girls Vintage Market in Cochrane on September 12. As you know, I love a good vintage show and this one was really well done.
It was held in an agricultural building and had over 40 vendors. There was a lovely mix of vintage items, recycled goods, refinished furniture, jewelry, etc. and a few food trucks as well.
One of the vendors had set up shop in a trailer!
There was lots of inspiration to be had for those of us who like the DIY side of things.
I purchased this wood bowl and a bottle of hemp oil.
The hemp oil brings back the richness of the wood. I think butcher block oil does the same and both are food safe. But I wanted to try the hemp oil as I have heard good things about it.
It was a beautiful day for the market and the leaves were starting to turn to gold which made for a gorgeous backdrop. It’s always a good thing when shows like this are close to home!
