Les and I spent 3 weeks in the United States in April. We took our trailer and our bike with us. And this time we added our son’s bike. He and his girlfriend joined us for a week and we got to show them around some of our favorite places in Utah. It was a treat to have them with us.
Arches National Park near Moab in southeastern Utah is spectacular. It is the first park Les and I visited in Utah back in 2007 and we have returned several times since then. This is one of the first views when you enter the park.
The rock formations here are so interesting. And see that mountain range in the distance? We rode our bike into that a couple of weeks later.
This is one of the most well known formations in the park – Balanced Rock. It is a mystery to me how it remains there.
There are many stops along the road in the park and we checked out a good many of them on this trip. It certainly is worth the stop if you are in the area.
