Natural Bridges National Monument
After our trip to Santa Fe we hit some cold weather. Our exploring the next day needed to continue in the truck. We started with close to Blanding and took in a little natural bridge and the Five Kiva Pueblo.
After lunch we headed to Natural Bridges National Monument. This park has the second, third and fourth largest natural bridges in the world. The bridges almost fade into the landscape unless you are at the right angle.
There were also some ruins in this park.
The landscape is beautiful and the dead trees got my attention once again.
The wind on this day was crazy strong and cold. We jumped out of the truck, took in the site quickly and then quickly returned to the vehicle. The next day was warmer and you won’t believe how beautiful it was!
