Wow! Can you believe it is almost Christmas! The time has flown by. This year, I managed to not feel quite as stressed as I usually do. I have a list every year of everything I want to accomplish and I started early enough that it has been a good experience.
I thought I would share a few more of the Christmas touches that I have added to our home. First up is our mantel. This year I used the brass candlesticks from Thanksgiving and put a few of my wood bobbins amongst them. A few faux pointsettias, a pewter nativity and my ornament wreath and it was good to go.
I purchased this topiary from a local flower shop and placed it on a cake plate with some faux snow and a few glass balls. I really like the look of it!
On a cabinet in the sunroom I just added a few of my berry branches and a nutcracker we have had for most of our married life.
I picked up a few chalkboard tags to differentiate our stockings this year. I think I will actually use the stockings for one of our Christmas celebrations this year.
I have also brought home the red skies that I had as a child and placed them in a corner of sunroom. I love the pop of colour and the nostalgia they bring. My village is in place and the coloured lights are on the tree in the sunroom. Unfortunately, I don’t have any photos of these at this point.
