New Kitchen Curtains
Happy Valentine’s Day! I hope that you have an opportunity to celebrate someone that you love today.
With all the changes going on in the living space of our home I thought it was time for some new curtains. Years ago I made some café curtains out of unbleached muslin. I put tabs along the top and stenciled apples along the bottom. They have served us well but it is time to replace them.
While looking for the ever elusive fabric for my storage shelving I came across this toweling fabric. It is approximately 21” wide and I will sew it with the stripes going horizontally. Instead of tabs, I plan to use clips with rings to attach the panels to the rod.
It should be a simple to sew and white should brighten up the kitchen. And even better than that – it should be quick and easy!
