Decorating for Easter
A little over a week ago, my grandson and I decorated for Easter. My mom decorated when I was a kid and then I did the same for my kids. And now I had the pleasure of decorating some pussywillows in a vase with decorations I have made or collected over the years.
We worked together carefully hanging the “delicate” ones, picking the vase up when it tipped over, searching to find the branches that weren’t overloaded. Amazingly, we didn’t break a single decoration!
The tree is a little lopsided and the branches tangled but I think it is beautiful just because I shared it with someone so special to me.
I also tucked some critters in my ironstone.
Of course, this isn’t the true meaning of Easter, but it is a little touch of spring after a long winter.
