I was able to get out with a photography buddy and shoot the super moon on August 10th. She found a hill not far from Sundre and we headed out in enough time to set up our gear and figure out the best place to stand.
The only problem was there was some low cloud cover which wasn’t apparent when we looked east. We waited and waited and then all of a sudden noticed that the moon was well into the sky.
It was still magnificent! I took photo after photo, many of them looking exactly the same when I was done. Don’t worry I won’t post them all!
Of course, we took some with whatever we could find for props.
Including a friendly herd of cattle.
As the sun set, it provided opportunity for some really clear photos of the moon.
God has given us so many amazing sights eh?!
