Lilacs

I wish I could totally immerse myself in the lilac experience.

We inherited several lilac bushes when we moved to this property and one by one we moved them.  I am allergic to strong flower scents so the lilac bush outside our bedroom window had to go!

But we have 5 bushes outside our living room window that are a joy to behold.  I don’t know what the variety is.  The blooms are fairly small compared to some that I have seen but they are mighty!  They are so pretty to look at every time we sit and relax in that room.

I wish I could cut a huge bouquet to put on my dining room table but at least I can enjoy them from this side of the glass!
