DIY Photo Canvas Part 2
So where did I leave off. Oh yes. I had finished taking the paper off of my canvas. The authors of the book said that sometimes the image will lift a bit in places as you rub the paper off but I didn’t experience that.
This is what was left. I was so surprised! It looked way better than I thought it would.
In the book it said to put a coat of the Liquitex over top and let it dry overnight.
I let it dry and then applied the Liquitex the next day.
It dried quickly and I was so pleased with the results. I will for sure do this project again. Perhaps with a black and white photo. I think that I would probably try it on a canvas where the photo would go right to the edges.
So what do you think?

I love this idea! I think I will likely try it! It would be awesome to use to capture some old pictures of the 50`s and 60`s I inherited from my Mom when she died. Or, black and whites of our trip to china (rather than trying to figure out how to frame them expertly! Thanks, Michele!
