I brought a couple of other plants from BC to be planted outside. This Hen and Chicks plant has lots of little chicks ready to leave the nest. The tips of the leaves are tinged with red.
I have several different varieties of daylilies but this one is new for me. I love the ruffled edges of the petals.
My peonies are pretty much done and this was one of the last.
My tiger lilies were pretty much decimated by the deer this year. This was one of the few survivors.
I have a couple of birdhouses that I finally put in a tree last fall. The copper one was from Leavenworth, Washington. It is weathering really well.
I have had this little wicker one for many years. It keeps hanging in there despite being left out all year.
I haven’t done a picture in my gazing ball for some time so here you go! I love how it shows so much of the surrounding yard.
My daughter’s house is in the home stretch and I can’t wait to get to some of the projects at home. It has been a good experience though as the whole family works together to complete it in time. I love my family!
