Spokane
As I mentioned in a previous post, Les and I went to Spokane in early June so that I could attend the Farm Chicks Show. We took our trailer and spent the first night in BC.
The next day we crossed the border and went to Spokane. We arrived early enough that we decided to check out Riverfront Park in downtown Spokane. And it was beautiful.
The Spokane Falls are running strong at that time of year and it was well worth the visit.
It was a hot day so we cooled down with snowcones as we walked over bridges and down paths.
We decided to eat supper at Anthony’s which afforded a beautiful view over the falls.
On the way back to the car we made a quick stop at Auntie’s bookstore. It was quite unique.
We have been to Spokane 3 times now and I’m sure we will go again. It is a great pit stop to anyplace on the west coast. And the KOA is easy to find with a good size pool for the hot days. Something for my camping readers to keep in mind.
