Globalfest Fireworks
My photography buddy and I took in the last night of Globalfest in Calgary a couple of weeks ago. Neither of us had ever attended before but had heard how amazing the fireworks are.
It is quite the process to get to the grounds. You need to catch a shuttle there and back and the lines for the shuttle on the way back are huge. At least they were on the finale night. There are all sorts of food vendors from different countries on the grounds as well and we were brave and tried some Thai food 🙂
The fireworks were amazing. Beautiful. The problem with trying to photograph them is you don’t fully appreciate how spectacular they are.
I did enjoy the performance and it is well worth going once to take it all in.
