I hope all of you had a wonderful Christmas, however or whenever you celebrated. We spent time with our family and a crazy amount of food. I think I will have to take myself firmly in hand in January. Sugar cannot be my friend any longer. Now on to our trip.
We ended our time in New Hampshire with a bang. This was one of my favorite days in our trip. We took the bike and made the short drive to Franconia Notch State Park. Our first stop was the Flume Gorge. Oh my goodness. Endless water photography opportunities.
As well as another covered bridge. This one was very scenic and I managed to snap a few shots without a crowd of people in the way!
The gorge itself ended with a beautiful water fall.
After lunch we continued on our way. In this photo you can see the actual notch in the distance between the mountains.
We also stopped at The Basin where a short walk took us by more water photography opportunities.
We drove north and east around the White Mountains. The fall colour was really starting to show in these areas.
And then there were more water photography opportunities. Yes it was a great day for water.
We did a loop that day that took us back to our campground over the Kancamagus highway. New Hampshire is definitely worth visiting if you get the chance. Now on to Massachusetts.
