The Bowden Sunmaze
Before school started, I had the opportunity to take my grandsons to the Bowden Sunmaze. This is the third time I have been there and I will definitely go again. There is so much to do!
We paid our fee and then headed into the mazes. There are corn mazes.
And there are sunflower mazes.
The Bowden Sunmaze also has a tree maze, a hay bale maze as well as an assortment of smaller mazes.
After we completed the mazes we wanted to do we had a picnic lunch. There are picnic tables on site and treats to be bought. We enjoyed a dessert of ice cream.
Then we borrowed a pair of pruning shears and cut some flowers and pulled a few onions. If I was to do this again, I would bring a vase of water to plunk the flowers in for the drive home. Most of them survived!
Fall is definitely in the air! If you are planning to go to this maze, I would check to make sure the sunflowers are at their peak. They were just starting when we went. Even so, it is a fun way to spend a few hours with a couple of the people I love most in the world!
