One Last Travel Post for 2016

Our last day on the bike for our spring trip was a ride into Colorado. It was stunning as all of the scenery is in that part of the world.

We covered rocky winding roads, ranch country, rivers and rocky cliffs that ranged from red to yellow.

One of the most interesting spots was Hanging Flume. It was built to transport water for mining.  It covered 10 miles and at times it was clinging to rock walls.  Unfortunately, it is difficult to see the remains of it in this photo.

We had a picnic in a lovely spot by a river with red cliffs all around us.

We ended the day back in Utah. I soaked in as much of this gorgeous red rock scenery as I could.  We were home 2 days later.

We didn’t do much more travelling together in 2016. But plans are being made for 2017!  We are hoping for a peaceful, adventurous year with lots of family time.

I wish all of you the very best in 2017 and hope that we can keep meeting here on my blog!
