This year I decided to display my glass pumpkin collection on our mantel. The mirror you see in the photo was no more than $5 from a local buy and sell site. I was going to use it outside but so far, I haven’t done that. The runner underneath the pumpkins is a scarf.
Every year I add a new pumpkin and this is the one I purchased this year.
I incorporated an ironstone transferware plate as well for a backdrop.
I also recently picked up this brass inkwell from an antique shop in Cremona. I saw it months ago and it was still there when I visited the shop recently!
Tucked into a corner below the mantel, I arranged a few faux bronze roses that I had purchased for an event I helped at last year. I love their colour for fall.
Though I don’t use bronze and orange colours in my décor normally, I like the pop of colour for a couple of months a year.
