The Loneliest Road in America (Eureka East)

Our last day holidaying in Nevada was spent completing the Loneliest Road in America, heading east to the border with Utah.  This stretch of road was very similar to the road heading west.

We did see a wind farm.

As well as one of the world’s largest mining pits.

We visited with another biking couple at the border and then turned around and headed back to Eureka.  Because of time limitations we didn’t stop at the Great Basin National Park but it will be added to the list of sites to see in the future.

Something I enjoyed in this area of Nevada, was old and crumbly architecture.  Les always indulges me with a stop to capture a few images of these old buildings.

Next stop, Idaho and Wyoming!
