A Taste of Spring

Wow, I am just sneaking in another post for February before March rolls around!  I think I have had one week this year when I felt like it was relaxed.  Otherwise it has been go, go, go!

For my new grandson’s baby shower, we put together little bouquets in ironstone pitchers and creamers to decorate the room.  We used only flowers that were lime green or white.  It was such a pretty and fresh colour to use in the middle of our Canadian winter!

A few days afterwards the flowers were still going strong so I played a little with my DLSR camera.  I don’t do that as much as I used to so it was fun to play!

On another note, I have been enjoying learning to paint.  The more I learn, the more I realize I have to learn!  I am trying to take it slow and steady.  My plan was to paint a little something daily, but that has not happened.  And with spring and summer coming I expect it will be even more difficult.  But slow and steady right?!
