USA Days 10 and 11

Can you believe it?  I did not take a single photo with my DSLR camera on October 4.  It was a travel day but still!  We travelled to Lava Hot Springs, Idaho on this day.  We were there in the spring and it is a nice place for an overnighter.  The hot springs are really well done with several different pools and temperatures to choose from.

The next morning we headed to Jackson Wyoming.  Finally!  The drive there was lovely.  It went through fields and mountains.

We got into our campground early enough that we could do a tour around the square in Jackson.  And there is lots to see.  It’s kind of like a western Banff but with a town square.

And on each corner of the square there is an arch made of elk antlers.  In the center of the square there is a war memorial as well.

I even got to have a visit with George Washington!

After the walk we stopped at Starbucks.  It was new and had a unique décor.

We raced back to the trailer to change and then went out for supper for our 30th anniversary.  Our anniversary was actually September 24 but we were packing the trailer that day so didn’t celebrate.  We took the time to go for a nice dinner at the Cowboy Steakhouse.  It is in the basement of the Million Dollar Cowboy Bar where they filmed a Clint Eastwood movie so that was kind of fun!

Only a few more days left before we head home.
